The ABC New Orleans/Bayou Chapter Training Program is accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research. The curriculum that we use was developed by the industry to train skilled workers.
Our campus is open four nights per week for training. Classes are usually 2 nights per week from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. The Craft Training Program is aimed at teaching the skills and knowledge needed in the commercial or industrial sector.

With nationally accredited curricula developed for the construction industry, the ABC New Orleans/Bayou Chapter is training hundreds of men and women in industry related specialties to meet and exceed the most exacting standards in the country. With the clout and knowledge provided by some of the most qualified instructors in the U.S., ABC trained workers tend to receive higher wages, experience more job satisfaction and greater job retention. The employer saves money through and appreciably safer workplace, employee retention and a significant increase in productivity.
Our Craft Training Program gives individuals the opportunity to become skilled craftspeople, learn a trade and earn an income. This training provides ABC contractors the ability to employ a highly skilled workforce. ABC New Orleans/Bayou Chapter has the curriculum for over 30 trades, however, we are currently training in the following trades:
*Carpentry
*Electrical
*Welding
*Pipefitting
*Instrumentation
Applications for the Spring 2012 Semester will be accepted starting November 1, 2011.
Deadline to register without a late fee is January 6, 2012.
Tuesday/Thursday classes begin on January 17, 2012 & Monday/Wednesday classes begin on January 18, 2012.
