Hilti, Inc and Lincoln Electric Mini Trade Fair:
October 26 and 27: ABC New Orleans/Bayou Chapter Members Hilti, Inc along with Lincoln Electric provided a mini trade fair for the students at the ABC New Orleans/Bayou Chapter Training Campus. Ron Diodene and Mark Ascani brought numerous Hilti tools to demonstrate and let students practice on. The students were captivated by the strength and sophistication of the Hilti tools. Matt Howerton with Lincoln Electric drove his mobile welding truck in to the ABC New Orleans/Bayou Chapter’s parking lot and set up a mini welding shop. The welders were able to weld on different types of metals as well as use machines that are different than the ones they are used to working on. By the end of the evening, even some of the Electrical students were trying their hand at welding.
