Mary Ann Choina celebrated her 20th Anniversary with the ABC New Orleans/Bayou Chapter
The ABC staff and members of the board of directors held a surprise dinner at La Cote Brasserie restaurant to celebrate Mary Ann’s 20th year with ABC. She was surprised, she was asked several questions about the past, one of the questions asked was how many chapter presidents there was since she started, she could name every one of them.
Mary Ann started working for ABC on August 22, 1989, she started as a receptionist and apprenticeship coordinator, at that time ABC only has an apprenticeship program, shortly after, they started the craft training program, she has stayed in the Education department for 20 years, plus other job duties, her title was Manager Member/Student Services.
