
Friday was the date for the Workforce Development's Management/Safety Education Committee to host

the Final Friday luncheon at Don's Seafood Hut in Metairie.
The topic, "The Truth About OSHA," was presented by retired OSHA Area Director Greg Honaker.
Honaker explained the structure of OSHA and how each position interacts with various companies within their area. He also listed several exact violations that compliance officer look for as well as best practices when you have been fined.
This informative luncheon was well attended by ABC members and several in attendance said it would help them do their jobs better.
