The annual awards program is dedicated to honoring the best projects and the companies that designed and built them in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Mississippi or Tennessee. Projects must have been completed between Sept. 1, 2008, and Aug. 31, 2009. Online entries may be submitted by any of the firms working on the project, including owners, architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors. |
An independent jury made up of industry leaders in real estate, design and construction will judge the projects in 20 categories. Winners will be honored at separate awards banquets Dec. 3 in Baton Rouge and Dec. 10 in Memphis. Winning entries will also be featured in the December issue of South Central Construction. Top category winners will move on to compete in the 2009 Best of the Best Awards, McGraw-Hill Construction’s national competition. Best of the Best winners will be profiled in Engineering News-Record, reaching more than 150,000 design and construction professionals. |
