The weather was picture perfect for the 16th Annual Bayou Classic Apprenticeship Golf Tournament held this year at Willowdale Country Club. The tournament is designed to raise funds to keep tuition rates low the for the Apprenticeship and School-to-Career programs.
This year’s tournament featured 132 golfers. The winners were: 1st place from Walton Construction Stephen Mackowitz, Timothy Parker, Jean Viola and Scott Sterbcow; and 2nd place from F.H. Myers Fred Myers, Ryan Myers, Rick Dupont and Al Kohorst. The Longest Drive went to Steve Hebert of Citadel Builders and Closest to the Hole went to Steve Salzer of Lafarge. The Hit-the-Green prize, a 3 day-2 night stay at the San Destin Hilton Hotel and Resort in Destin, Florida was won by Brandon Smith of Dow Chemical
