One of the great benefits of ABC membership is all the wonderful social and educational events that are planned throughout the year. These events give its members a chance to network with their peers and learn a few new things a long the way. Here are a few events planned for the coming months:
· Apprenticeship and Craft Training Commencement & Award Banquet — Thursday, June 26th at 6:30pm at Smilie’s Restaurant. Cash bar starts at 5:45 pm. Cost: $40.00 per person. Deadline to register is tomorrow, June 20th.
· Breakfast with the Barristers, Part II — Friday, June 27th at 8:00am at Portobello Café. Cost: $30/members and $35/non-members. Guest speakers: Attorneys Michael F. Weiner and Mark W. Frilot.
· Overview of the Revised AIA Documents — Monday, July 14th at 11:30am at the ABC Bayou Chapter office. Cost: $30/members and $35/non-members. Guest speakers: Attorneys Terrence Brennan and Keith Bergeron.
· Northshore Membership Luncheon — Wednesday, August 13th at 11:30am at Benedict’s. Cost: $35/members, $45/non-members and $45/after August 8th. Guest speaker: Congressman Steve Scalise.
· Rock-N-Bowl Networking — Thursday, August 21st at 5:30pm at Rock-N-Bowl Mid City Lanes. Cost: $35/bowlers and non-bowlers.
