Angela Latino-Geier joins the Bayou Chapter staff as the Director of Education. She will lead the team in the development of educational programs to advance the professional, technical, and managerial skills of the local workforce with special emphasis on the changing trends and issues in the construction industry.
While working full-time at Tulane University, Latino-Geier received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Science in 1990. She will soon graduate as an alumna of the Leadership St. Tammany Class of 2008 in May.
As a senior executive, Latino-Geier has continued in her profession with a proven record of operational management success in the areas of process and procedures, fiscal sustainability, volunteer activation, program and event implementation and communications/marketing.
Latino-Geier carries the distinction of being selected, at various stages in her career, to utilize her skills and administrative experience in implementing six pilot programs which have systematically guided volunteer leadership and fellow staff members in strengthening constituent relations, securing philanthropic support and enhancing educational outreach initiatives for the organizations she has served.
